Ceracarb coating is Silicon Carbide(SiC) coating on graphite material. This Ceracarb coating which is conversion by reaction from carbon to silicon carbide on graphite surface solves the problems for graphite particle, oxidation of graphite surface. Ceracarb coating has advantage for thermal stability, thermal shock, wear and oxidation.because The coating itself is chemically stable SiC.

- At glowing red 1,000°C, even if submerged into water, there is no flaking, peeling or cracking . Because Ceracarb is conversion to SiC on the graphite surface.

- Superior resistance against acid-aq or alkali-aq for long time.
4. High hardness
- Vickers hardness Hv=1700 This figure is slightly lower than sintering SiC.
5. High Strength
- Bending strenth is 90MPa.
