Gama Plant shifted to manufacturing of alloy iron

Started production of melamine decorative boards at Aoyanagi Plant (until 1971)

Started production of Gouging carbon boards at Aoyanagi Plant (until 1991)

Received Production Award from Ogaki Memorial Foundation for our achievement of "Automated production system of carbon electrodes for filming"

Started manufacturing of dry acetylene gas at Ogaki Plant (until 1992)

1960

Completed melamine decorative board production line at Aoyanagi Plant
Started sales of melamine decorative board "IBI-BOARD"

1961

Large-scale carbide electric furnace(30,000kVA, monthly output 6,000 tons) put into operation at Ogaki Plant

1962

Announced the inauguration on May 30, President Miyadera to Chairman of the board, Kiyoshi Suzaki to President

1969

Launched the business of housing materials
Started production of special carbon products(Graphite) at Aoyanagi Plant
Established Kinuura Plant in Takahama City, Aichi Pref.

Launched the project team of PWB
