- Domestic/Int'l ISO 14001(OHSAS 18001) Status
In FY 2005, IBIDEN Bussan Co., Ltd. and IBIDEN Industries Co., Ltd. in the domestic group and IBIDEN Electronics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in the overseas group obtained ISO 14001 status. In FY 2006, a total of 3 companies, domestic and overseas, will be granted the status.
EnvironmentalReportDomestic Group Company ISO14001 (OHSAS18001) Status
IBIDEN, together with group companies IBIDEN Electronic Industries, IBIDEN Graphite, IBITECH and IBIDEN Engineering, gained the ISO14001 and OHSAS certification in January 2000 and March 2003 respectively. To follow, IBIDEN Bussan and IBIDEN Sangyo received ISO14001 certification in May and September 2005 respectively. By the end of FY2006, all associated group companies which are not linked to IBIDEN’sbusiness also engaged in activities toward obtaining the ISO14001.
*OHSAS18001: OHSAS is short for "Occupational Health and Safety Assessment"
International Group Company ISO14001 Certification Status
Like our domestic operations, we launched environmental safety and hygiene activities in our productive facilities overseas, and so far, IBIDEN Philippines, IBIDEN Electronics (Beijing), and IBIDEN Electronics (Shanghai ) have received ISO14001 certification. Also, IBIDEN Hungary and IBIDEN Circuits of America are promoting activities to obtain ISO14001 by 2007 and 2008 respectively.
