Domestic group companies certified with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
We have established an environmental management system as part of our environmental management activities and we are stepping up efforts to obtain ISO 14001 certification.
In January 2000, IBIDEN was certified with the ISO 14001 together with IBIDEN Electronics Industries Co., Ltd., IBIDEN Graphite Co., Ltd., IBITECH Co., Ltd. and the water treatment segment of IBIDEN Engineering Co., Ltd., all of which are directly associated with our operations. In March 2003, we gained the OHSAS 18001* certification. In addition, IBIDEN Jushi Co., Ltd. became certified with the ISO 14000 standard.

Overseas group companies certified with ISO 14001
In our Group, not only Domestic group companies but also Overseas group companies are working to obtain ISO 14001 certification.
In June 2003, IBIDEN Philippines, Inc. became the first overseas subsidiary in the IBIDEN Group to obtain ISO 14001 certification. IBIDEN Electronics (Beijing) Co., Ltd. renewed its certification in 2007 through an extended exam process covering its second plant. Four of our overseas production bases have so far been achieved the certification.
In the future, we will continue with efforts to obtain the ISO 14001 certification and to strengthen our environmental management.
